WELCOME!

On behalf of all members of the Athens-Meigs Educational Service Center Governing Board and staff, I am pleased to welcome you to our agency’s exciting new website. We know that you will enjoy the easy access to valuable information about the programs and services that we provide to the schools and communities that we are privileged to serve.

Our organization employs over 200 dedicated professionals who proudly deliver more than 60 programs and services that operate under the fiscal or administrative authority of the AMESC. All of the programs are designed to deliver effective and efficient high quality educational services that improve student achievement. To reach these important organizational goals we offer a wide range of programs that benefit preschool children, students and teachers in the public schools, and adults who live and work in our communities.

This website also provides links to the many valued school and community partners who support the growth and success of the AMESC. I join with other staff members to thank leaders from education, local and governmental service agencies, business, government, and our local communities for their contributions to our success. We are committed to continued collaboration to build strong lasting partnerships and programs that improve educational opportunities for all members of the school communities that we serve.
